Margaret's father, William Cox, died when she was quite young. Margaret's mother (Alice Bee) married someone else. So Margaret went to live with her aunt Mary Belworthy Cox (who was William's sister). Mary's husband was Sinclair Blue and they had two children, Christina and Billy (who married Kitty Gordon). Margaret married Kitty's brother, John Forbes Gordon. |
